On my Fellowship with Michael Blake For Public Advocate, I took on the role of aiding the Manhattan Borough Director Sophia Lajaunie on phone banks and Distribution of flyers. During the weeks of the election, I would have invited classmates to go out on 161st and distribute flyers to people leaving the 4 Train, or head over to the Blake office in 125th St. In Harlem and make calls. The last week of the election, I was at the public advocate last debate hosted by Al Sharpton. In total, I did 100 hours of service, 726 calls and recruited 10 people to volunteer.

After School Flyer Hang Out
Me and some of my friends manage to give out flyers for Blake on 163rd street and the yankee stadium.
Harlem Phone Bank
This was the usual for the campaign, we would normally do phone banks In Harlem next to the Black Theater.
New York On Tech, Tech 360 was a beginner course for coding thats where I learned all that I know about coding. During this course I learned how to use HTML, CSS and JavaScript and other 3rd party Extensions like bootstrap and CSS animation. On this program we had teams where we competed on developing a website for dummy companies. My team dummy company was Umbrella Pizza click the link to it HERE
Bronx Gear Up Journalism was a program designed for young minds who are interested in the insides of journalism and news. I learned many valuable skills in this class like logo development, Adobe Photoshop, audio editing and photography. The big project in this program was to publish a news article on an art gallery. We published our article on the Bronx Journal. Our article was composed of photography and storytelling.
